You and Your Relationships Deserve It.

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.

Growing and raising a family is a time filled with constant change, vulnerability, and opportunity for growth. Arguably, there is no better time to start or continue a journey of self reflection. With warm collaboration and evidence-based approaches, I specialize in supporting parents of very young children in feeling more capable of managing their own emotions, feeling more fulfilled in their relationships with the important people in their life, and being the parents they want to be.

About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a certification in perinatal mental health. I completed my residency and fellowship training at the Yale Child Study Center. I received my Ph.D. from Palo Alto University, my master’s degree from Pepperdine University and I am a proud HBCU alumni of Xavier University of Louisiana where I received my bachelor’s degree.

In addition to my private practice, I serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor and Attending NICU and Perinatal Psychologist at Stanford University School of Medicine. I direct the NICU Psychology Program at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital where I provide psychological consultation and psychotherapy to parents requiring hospitalization due to high risk pregnancies and parents of infants hospitalized in the NICU. My clinical specialties include perinatal and infant mental health as well as maternal-infant critical care with a focus on child and caregiver trauma, grief, and bereavement.

I use a warm, down-to-earth, and relational approach to my work. Diversity and equity are at the core of my practice, and I strive to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for families of all backgrounds. I believe that every parent has unique strengths and support parents in staying rooted in their values. I co-create a space in which parents can better identify and confront unhelpful patterns of relating to themselves and others, while feeling empowered to guide their family's life in the direction they would like.

In addition to my clinical work, I hold a community faculty appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale Child Study Center where I work on the Grief-Sensitive Healthcare Project which aims to enhance healthcare providers’ capacities to meet the needs of grieving families. I was a Zero to Three Fellow and currently serve as Co-Chair of the National Network of NICU Psychologists. In 2026 I was appointed to the American Psychological Association's committee on Children Youth and Families.
